Technocracy: Government in the Scientific Age (I)
Part 1 | The Origin of Technocracy
This is the first part in a multi-part series on TECHNOCRACY - a science and technology-based governance paradigm that is rapidly being prepared as the replacement for capitalism.
As I argue in my book The Coming World Nation (which paid subscribers can download), the transition to technocracy is being accompanied by two other global transformations:
The shift from nation-states to global government; and
The emergence of an energy revolution based around the “discovery” (or more accurately, disclosure of) a long-classified source of atmospheric energy - the luminferous Ether.
These three developments are coming together to drive an epochal transformation in the evolution of human civilization, a transition that coincides with the Summer Solstice moving into alignment with the AA or alpha-omega point of the Great Year.
The Origin of Technocracy
There are, in essence, two Americas: there’s the American nation state, democratically governed, and then atop this structure - latched onto it like a parasite -is a vast military-industrial-financial complex, which oversees a global imperium - The American Empire.
As I’ve argued across this book’s first four chapters, America’s military-industrial-financial complex (also known as the US Deep State) is centered around the immense financial wealth of an elite capitalist oligarchy, whose economic and political power is solidified through their ownership of the nation’s privately-owned central bank (the Federal Reserve).
While many of today’s top geopolitical analysts have come to a similar conclusion about the two-fold structure of American governance - with an overt government infiltrated by a covert shadow government or Deep State - what very few have correctly surmised is that the US military-industrial-financiall complex has a highly concealed third entity nested within its structure. This references America’s black projects underworld: a mysterious domain of classified science and secret technology.
Within this underworld resides a concealed scientific governing body - which I term “The Technocratic Superstate.” Here, it is walled off and kept hidden from the Deep State power structures who manage the overt global buildout of the American Empire. Instead of acting openly to manage this empire, it exerts its influence covertly, concealing its technocratic operations and ambitions behind the all-encompassing policies of secrecy and compartmentalization that pervade the US National-Security State.
The “Technocratic Superstate” is the key element missing from ongoing debates about American history and modern geopolitics. According to the theory I present in this book, the original seed of this institution was established after the discovery during someting during the mid-19th century of a radical new paradigm of science and technology, one differing markedly from the materialistic scientific doctrines taught in modern academic textbooks. This pertains to the metaphysical dynamics of the luminiferous Ether - a universal field of subtle energy that envelopes material existence.
Although shamans, alchemists, and esotericists have long known about the Ether, modern civilization did not discover it until the rise of the scientific and industrial ages during the 19th century. It appears to have been discovered not just once but several times by different independent researchers and scientists, who in their work combined modern engineering concepts with ancient formulas derived from alchemy. This is the template Tesla used in his discovery of the Ether, which his breakthrough inventions were all conceived in relation to. Before Tesla, other pioneering scientists and inventors also discovered its power and were attempting to harness it in a variety of ways, including James Clark Maxwell, Michael Faraday, Franz Mesmer, John Keely, and Baron Carl von Reichenbach.
It’s important to emphasize that the 19th-century scientists and inventors who discovered Etheric energy were actually rediscovering something that the wise men and gurus of the ancient world had long known about and incorporated into their esoteric doctrines. The great temple complexes of antiquity, with their puzzling sacred geometries, were each designed to interface with the Ether. As were the esoteric physical and mental disciplines practiced within the ancient esoteric orders. Both were grounded in the idea that material reality - including the human body, the human mind, and the natural world - interfaces at an intimate electromagnetic level with the Ether. Based on this relationship, through the practice of certain advanced occult disciplines, this universal Etheric field could be directly harnessed, inducing various physical and psycho-spiritual effects.
Prior to the rise of the modern scientific and industrial ages, knowledge of the Ether was confined to exclusive networks of secret societies, which were offshoots of earlier philosophic orders from the pre-Christian era. These philosophic orders were in turn born from the older Mystery Schools, which trace back into prehistory and the lost age of Atlantis. When knowledge of the Ether was confined within the body of the ancient Mysteries, it was protected by strict oaths of secrecy and restricted to those capable of passing a series of strenuous initiation tests. These tests were in part designed to weed out those who might abuse the systems of esoteric knowledge (including alchemy) bestowed to higher initiates.
After the collapse of classical civilization, when the ancient Mystery Schools were destroyed, and as the timeline of history moves into the Middle Ages, the stringent protocols that once protected access to subjects like alchemy began to break down. While some of the remnant esoteric orders and secret societies still upheld the high initiation standards of the ancient Mysteries, an increasing number departed from the old ways and as a result the mysteries of the Ether began to leak out into the hands of persons not sufficiently mature or disciplined to use the knowledge wisely. This situation was exacerbated with the rise of the scientific age, when experimentation into the electromagnetic properties of Nature began to reveal to uninitiated scientists and inventors the mechanics of this universal energy field.
This is the context within which the 19th-century saga involving the flying airship societies, the career of Nikola Tesla, and the birth of the Technocratic Superstate all took place (as described in this book’s preceding chapter). Occult knowledge about the Ether was beginning to leak out of its old protected confines and threatened to fall into the hands of an ambitious ruling class not obligated by the same oaths and high moral standards that ancient initiates once were. The Technocratic Superstate was formed as a solution to this emergency: with the old Mystery Schools destroyed, it would rise to become the new scientific-age gatekeeper for occult knowledge about the Ether, including any applications involving science and technology.
When the Technocratic Superstate was first established, it was formed around a central scientific think tank, which tasked itself with a fourfold strategic mission:
To oversee all scientific research into Etheric energy;
To centrally manage all technological applications of this science;
To implement a comprehensive information-security control grid to protect this scientific paradigm from outside discovery; and
To orchestrate a “social engineering” operation designed to gradually bring world civilization under the umbrella of a centralized system of global government, which would be organized around technocratic principles and customized to support the public release of Etheric energy-related sciences and technologies.
Regarding this fourth mission statement, an immediate necessity that the original leaders of the Technocratic Superstate would have faced is: what model of government would ultimately be required to successfully address the myriad social, political, and cultural challenges that Etheric energy presents to civilization, while also optimizing the newfound power and agency it bestows?
Democracy, capitalism, socialism, communism: each of these traditional models of government are ill-suited to the task of managing a civilization with access to the godlike power of Etheric energy. Elements from each system may find their place in the final formula, but entirely new ingredients must be added to enable global civilization to handle the responsibilities of Etheric energy while realizing the newfound powers and potentials it offers.
The solution was to emphasize science and technology at a fundamental level in governmental decision-making, with energy rather than money serving as the basis of economic organization.
The specific term “technocracy” comes from a group of academics, engineers, and intellectuals centered around Columbia University during the 1920s and 30s. Led by W. King Hubbard and Howard Scott, they together formed the “Technocracy Movement.” Disillusioned with capitalism, which they saw as being not only corrupt but also inherently flawed, this group attempted to envision an alternative economic paradigm based on science, technology, and energy. They called their new economic vision “Technocracy”: it represented a scientifically-managed society where the government’s primary mandate is to optimize the flow of energy within the economy. To achieve this task, government, science, industry, and banking are all integrated together, forming a hybrid public-private entity.
The major shortcoming of the model of technocracy first envisioned by Hubbard, Scott, and co. was that it was built using a flawed model of energy and physics - i.e. it did not factor in the existence of the luminiferous Ether. With their thinking biased by the constrained scientific worldview of Einstein’s relativity model, the Technocracy Movement developed their economic ideas based upon the assumption that the only sources of energy generation available are those derived from conventional carbon-based sources like coal and oil.
It’s worth wondering: how different would their vision of technocracy have been if they knew about the science of Etheric energy and the types of transformative energy technologies it makes possible? This is more or less the position that the Technocratic Superstate was in when it was first founded: its scientists and engineers had already discovered Etheric energy and were seeking a scientific and technological model of government capable of safely harnessing its power. These scientists would have quickly realized that democracy and capitalism, even in their ideal form, would not alone be adequate to the task of governing the new Ether economy. Instead, a new governance model would need to be invented.
We don’t have direct access to the blueprints of the system they came up with, but it would have certainly shared key similarities with the economic vision of the Technocracy Movement. Both are premised upon a scientific and technological form of governance that uses energy rather than money as the foundation of economic organization. The major difference is the 1930s Technocracy Movement would have been unaware of the deeper mysteries of the Ether and consequently did not incorporate it within their economic vision, while the Technocratic Superstate would have incorporated it at the foundation of its model.
In sum, the term “Technocratic Superstate” is what I call the concealed governing body in charge of the Etheric energy paradigm. It is a secret scientific institution that exists beyond the scope of either the overt government or Deep State. In this way, it functions as a hidden “superstate,” whose goal is to incrementally transition human civilization into a new scientific and technology-based governance system centered around the use of Etheric energy.
The model of technocracy pursued by the Technocratic Superstate is a drastically more advanced version of the concept originally put forward by Scott and Hubbard in the 1930s. Whereas the former is based entirely around the use of Etheric energy, the latter does not incorporate this transcendent energy source into its models at all. It’s therefore important to distinguish between these two variations of technocracy: one esoteric, which is built around the Ether, and the other exoteric, which is built around conventional fuel sources.
While public-facing entities like the WEF and BIS pursue the globe’s transition into an “exoteric” technocratic order, the Technocratic Superstate is quietly working towards the implementation of a more advanced “esoteric” technocratic vision - one that will feature Etheric energy as not only as its primary field source, but also as the basis of its new post-capitalistic financial system.
